Kickoff FAQ

Each building/district will be coordinating rides with their staff. Due to parking availability, most people will be using buses to get to The Huntington Place. Parking at the event is $28 and will not be reimbursed.

Please bring a positive attitude and a readiness to learn! 😃 We will provide everything else. Also note that if you bring your laptop, there may not be power readily available.

The dress will be business casual, featuring school specific spirit wear attire! We are excited to see your teams celebrate their school spirit and fill the room with color and joy. No ripped, distressed or cut jeans or shirts. No sweatpants. No flip flops or slides please.

Yes, you will be provided with a map on the day of the event, indicating locations of both elevators and escalators.

Yes, there are private breastfeeding stations available and will be indicated on the map provided on the day of the event. Refrigeration will not be available.

Yes. Buffet selections have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

The main session will have tables reserved for your school.

Certificates will be provided to participants from Ohio and Indiana schools. SCECHs will be provided to participants from Michigan schools. Professional Development attendance will be verified through the sign-in survey. Failure to complete the survey may result in not receiving a certificate or SCECH credit.
